What is Dermal Filler
Maintaining the skin’s vitality becomes much more of a challenge as we grow older. A healthy, toned skin, free from lines and imperfections is hard to achieve.
A large percentage of our skin (approximately 56%) is made up from Hyaluronic Acid (HA), a highly absorbent substance that hydrates and creates volume. As we age, our levels of HA decrease, causing fine lines, wrinkles and dehydrated skin. There are a range of products available to suit every treatment need and subtly minimise creases and revive the complexion.
The dermal filler gel consists of a minimally modified hyaluronic acid that is similar to the hyaluronic acid that is naturally found in the body. The contents can almost be described as sugar and water and the dermal filler is slowly broken down in a natural way in the body. A newly published clinical study shows that the effect of the dermal filler treatment together with an additional follow-up treatment can last up to as long as 18 months.

The results from dermal filler treatments:

Results are also dependent on a patient's skin type and facial structure, their life style and their own perception.
